Weekly report #7
This week, I continued making strong strides in pre-production, with a major focus on preparing essential planning materials. I made significant progress on my pitch deck, and I am now nearly finished with it. Completing the pitch deck ahead of schedule was a strategic move it not only helps present my film professionally but also allows me to shift focus to the next major milestones in production.
With the pitch deck almost complete, I began dedicating time to developing my shot list and production schedule. These documents are crucial for structuring the filming process and ensuring each scene is visually and technically prepared before we step on set. Getting a head start on these planning tasks will also help clarify what resources I still need as I finalize my post-production team.
Working ahead has been a priority for me because I recognize that film production often comes with unexpected challenges. By being proactive and staying organized, I’m making sure there is room in the timeline to handle any setbacks without falling behind. This approach is helping the project stay on track as I prepare to begin filming later this month.
Overall, this week was productive and well-structured. The momentum behind the project continues to build, and I feel confident about the direction things are moving.
