Weekly Report #4

 

    This week, I focused heavily on location scouting for Same Time Tomorrow. After revisiting potential areas on campus, I was able to officially finalize the specific locations I intend to use for production. The majority of the film will be shot in the MLK building, as this space offers the most effective setting for the story I want to tell. Its layout and atmosphere align perfectly with the film’s tone and narrative needs, providing both practical accessibility and strong visual opportunities for the camera.

Securing this location feels like a major step forward, as it gives me a solid foundation for how I’ll block out future scenes and manage production logistics. The MLK building not only works best for the current plot but also creates a strong setup for future moments I plan to incorporate later in the film. Having these details locked in brings me closer to being production-ready and keeps me on schedule with my timeline moving toward filming next month.
