       This week, I made significant progress on my senior film,  Same Time Tomorrow, by completing a full character breakdown and analysis for each character in the story. Taking the time to dive deeply into their personalities, motivations, and roles in the narrative allowed me to gain a stronger understanding of who they are and how they contribute to the film’s overall message. By outlining not only their traits but also how they interact with one another, I’ve started to shape a clearer vision of how the story should unfold both visually and emotionally. This process will be especially valuable as I move into the casting phase in the upcoming week.        This week, I focused heavily on location scouting for Same Time Tomorrow . After revisiting potential areas on campus, I was able to officially finalize the specific locations I intend to use for production. The majority of the film will be shot in the MLK building, as this space offers the most effective setting for the story I want to tell. Its layout and atmosphere align perfectly with the film’s tone and narrative needs, providing both practical accessibility and strong visual opportunities for the camera. Securing this location feels like a major step forward, as it gives me a solid foundation for how I’ll block out future scenes and manage production logistics.        This week, I was able to complete the treatment for my senior film,  Same Time Tomorrow , which marks an important step in moving the project forward. Writing the treatment gave me the chance to step back and think critically about the structure of the story, how the time loop functions in Alex’s journey, and how each moment builds toward the central themes of presence and vulnerability. Having this treatment finished gives me a stronger foundation to refine the script, and it reassures me that the story is staying true to my original vision. It also helps to clarify the pacing, character motivations, and tone I want the film to capture once I move into production. Now that the treatment is done, my next priority is finalizing the last draft of the script. My focus will be on tightening dialogue, refining character interactions, and making sure the emotional beats land in a way that feels natural and powerful on screen.   This week felt like an important step forward. I worked with my friend MJ on revising my script, and having someone to bounce ideas off of really helped me see my story from a fresh perspective. We made several tweaks that not only improved the flow but also clarified certain moments that I was unsure about before. By the end of the week, I had a complete second draft, which feels like a big accomplishment. Now I’ve started working on the final draft. It’s exciting but also a little nerve-wracking because this version feels more “permanent.” I want to make sure everything is as strong as it can be before moving on to the next stage. Overall, I’m proud of the progress I made this week, and I’m feeling more confident about where my film is headed.
